CALDWELL, N.J. - Caldwell College senior guard Torey Jones (Providence, RI/LaSalle Acad.) and junior forward Jeanette Anderson (Lynn, MA/Lynn English) were chosen to the all-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball first team, the league announced today. Jones and Anderson led the Cougars to a 17-11 record overall and the CACC North Division title with a 15-4 mark in league play this season.

Jones is making her third consecutive appearance on the all-CACC first team after being named the CACC Rookie of the Year and making the third team as a freshman. An impact player for the Cougars, she leads the team in scoring at 17.2 points per game to rank fourth in the CACC. Jones also is first in the conference in three-point field goal percentage (40.8 percent) and free throw shooting (86.4 percent) while ranking third in three-pointers (60) and 10th in assists (3.0 per game). A two-time CACC Player of the Week this season, she has 12 games with at least 20 points, including two 30-point efforts this year. Jones, who holds the all-time record at Caldwell for three -pointers (230) and free throw percentage (81.0 percent), is seven points shy of becoming the fourth player in the program's history to score 1,800 career points.

Anderson also made the all-CACC first team last year, and was the CACC Rookie of the Year and a second team selection in 2011. A physical presence in the paint, Anderson is averaging 15.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game to rank eighth and third in the CACC, respectively. She also has 12 double-doubles this year, which ranks 16th nationally. Anderson was chosen the CACC Player of the Week on Feb. 18 after averaging 28.0 points and 11.7 rebounds in three victories. Earlier this season, she scored her 1,000th career point, and currently has 1,243 points and 786 rebounds to rank ninth and sixth, respectively on Caldwell's all-time lists.

Holy Family's Erin Mann was named the CACC Player of the Year, while Tori Arnao of Philadelphia University was selected the league's Rookie of the Year. Holy Family's Mark Miller is the CACC Coach of the Year.

Caldwell, coached by Linda Cimino, takes a 13-game winning streak into the CACC Tournament. The Cougars host Philadelphia on Saturday, Mar. 2 in the quarterfinal round. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. in the George R. Newman Center.
